Community
Clinton is located in central Mississippi between the state’s capital city of Jackson and the port city of Vicksburg, and our city is noted for low crime, good schools, quality development, and excellent transportation access to surrounding areas. Home to Mississippi College and only eight miles northeast of Hinds Community College, Clinton is connected to over 18,000 undergraduate and graduate students. Additionally, the community still holds large undeveloped tracts of land adjacent to Interstate 20, U.S. Highway 80, and the Clinton Parkway, all of which offer prime sites for commercial, office, retail, and industrial development. Over 34,000 cars per day travel through Clinton on Interstate 20. An additional 21,000 cars utilize the Clinton Parkway each day. These factors and a primary trade area of over 126,000 will continue to make Clinton an attractive location for business and residential development.
As part of the Jackson Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), our city also enjoys the conveniences and workforce availability of the state’s largest metropolis.
