FAQs

Who owns the Clinton Visitor Center?

The Clinton Visitor Center is owned and operated solely by the City of Clinton. The National Park Service provides support and guidelines that require all visitor centers on the Trace to operate similarly.

When did the visitor center open?

The Center opened on May 21, 2005 which was the same day that the last two remaining sections of the Natchez Trace Parkway opened. It took 67 years to pave the Trace. Oddly, the first and last sections completed are just a few miles apart.
